A Pause in the Journey

I've reached a crossroads in my software development journey where it's time to explore other opportunities in tech. The timing, unfortunately, isn't right for me to continue pursuing this path at the same intensity.

I did manage to secure an interview opportunity, but the tech stack focused on .NET and C# – technologies I haven't worked with extensively. While I've invested countless hours learning and building, the combination of a challenging job market and the rapid evolution of AI in the development space has made it increasingly difficult to break into the field as I'd hoped.

This isn't goodbye forever, though. I still genuinely enjoy coding and development work. My plan is to stay current with technologies and trends, continuing to learn at a sustainable pace. I'm hopeful that when the market turns around, I'll be ready to pursue a development role with renewed energy and more experience under my belt.

For now, I'm scaling back my efforts and redirecting my focus. It's a bittersweet decision, but sometimes the best move is knowing when to pivot rather than push forward at all costs.
